Access to medical technologies in Wales

I know its late but I would like to comment on the limit for the boundaries on the discussion of medical technologies.

I represent an organisation trying to get recognition for the practice known as Mindfulness.

It has plenty of scientific evidence to back it up and it is an intervention that is applicable in areas other than medicine.

It has its own terminology and process so counts as a technology (in fact is highly technical) but there is a great deal of reticence in accepting its claims, the barrier being that it is exotic oriental and the non-acceptance in the the West of valid non-material proof (but anyway).

As I mentioned there is a great deal of scientific evidence to back up the claims of this intervention as a useful therapeutic technique.
